Titan
Titans come in all kinds of variations and shapes but all share the same colossal size and destructive power. The titans were a dire treat during the second era and have since been extinct. Nobody knows of their origins but they did however build communes and camps as if they were advancing through civilization the same way humans were. But now all of them lie dead, most of them in a graveyard in the mountains.
Basic Information
Anatomy
All Titans share humanoid structures but can vary to fish people to winged titan beasts. But most have a stone or earthly exterior and a flesh like interior. The earthy exterior almost seems like a type of armor worn over the skin of the titans.
Biological Traits
Titans are believed to be immortal beings and have massive sizes but strangely enough the weight of each titan varies. Females have a thinner body type compare to the robust males.
Genetics and Reproduction
Titans reproduction is unknown and unseen but the offspring has a very similar look to the parents.
Growth Rate & Stages
Titans grow into the colosul height by fist coming out at about a quarter of the mother's height and grow very rapidly to half the height in 4 years. After that it only takes a staggering 2 years to reach full height. Physically the titans grow their thick earthly shell the material depends on their birthplace. If they were to be born in a mountain the exterior shell will be made of rock and other stones found in mountains. As if the titan was born in the plains the titan would develop a tightly packed dirt shell.
Ecology and Habitats
Where they live depends on what variation they are. Most are land dwelling and like the plaines more than anything. But all titans developed small places of living like houses and lived in the human equivalent of a village.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Titans need not to eat but they feed off of air and just need to breathe to survive.
Biological Cycle
The titans biological cycle are almost identical to humans.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Titans have a standard written language but different titan groups have different verbal and non verbal communications.
Domestication
There has been 1 instance of a domestication of a titan. It was done by military researchers during the titan wars. The researchers snagged a young titan that was just born and raised it to live amongst humans. The domesticated titan went on to be an important military resource before the feral titans saw him as an immediate threat and planned a collaborate and very well orchestrated assault to bring down their traitor. Attempts to domesticate or even befriend adult or young titans have been very successful.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Fallen titans would sometimes have valuable resources like gold and iron on them. The internal organs of the titans were and still are widly sold on the black market as potent potion ingredients.
Facial characteristics
Most adult titans have a mask obscured by their natural shells and at night their eyes sometime glow various colors depending on the individual. Young titans who have not developed a full shell have very human characteristics with the exception of certain titans.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Titans could be found almost in every nook and cranny of Asios.
Average Intelligence
Titans shared the same level of intelligence as the average human.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Titans have keen vision but are entirely deaf and are very sensitive to pain.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Titans often house many dungeon dwelling plants like Assassin Vines and other plants native to the environment they hail from. When a titan slumbers for an extensive amount of time a developing ecosystem may form on the titan. The titan will remain still until the environment diminishes or the titan itself is harmed.
