Firbolg

The Firbolg people are perhaps the most amicable and peaceful race to grace Askara. To a Firbolg, the ideal day is spent amongst the trees of their home forest, taking in the scenery and sounds around them. They tend to stay reclusive within their home forest, tending to the trees and animals around them. The Firbolg originate from the Sacred Grove in the She'jian Dynasty. The Royal Family has left the Firbolgs at peace, as they act as keepers of the forest and allow the Dynasty to give their attention to other matters.
Some Firbolg get an urge to venture beyond the limits of their forest. They are free to go, but once they have left, they may never return to their home, as they are now considered "tainted" by the outside world, and bringing outside influences back to the Sacred Grove could be catastrophic. As such, Firbolgs seen outside the Sacred Grove are most often loners with no family and few friends. However, befriending a Firbolg guarantees an eternal friendship that will last this life and beyond.
