Gnome

The Gnomes of Askara make up the realm's greatest inventors and merchants. The Gnome race is well-respected for its ingenuity and ability to overcome its physical limitations. Most Gnomes can be found in either the Hyfane Dominion or the Oscala Concord. There are three subraces of Gnome, with the first two being much more common than the last: - Rock Gnomes are the most common race of Gnomes in Askara. They are inventors at heart and can be found in nearly every Hyfane city. - Forest Gnomes are less social than their Rock Gnome cousins, though have still found a place in the world where they can thrive. Forest Gnomes are excellent trackers and hunters, and are most at home in the wilderness. Many find themselves joining the ranks of the Emerald Enclave for this reason. - Deep Gnomes are a rare sight in Askara. They tend to live deep underground in the Underdark in small tight-knit communities where they rarely venture to the surface. They are not inherently hostile to surface-dwellers, but tend to keep to themselves as loners. A Deep Gnome living on the surface is almost certainly a scout sent by their village or an outcast banished from their home.
