Badlands
Geography
A vast stretch of dry grassland and rolling hills.
Ecosystem
The soil is inhospitable for most crops, and what little can grow is hardy and meagre. Grazing beasts and small mammals call the tall grasses home.
Climate
Hot most of the year, broken by a brief winter. Rainfall is sparse, resulting in dry lands that are prone to wildfires.
Natural Resources
the eastern edge of the badlands borders mountain ranges, which are rich in metals and precious minerals. The vast grasslands is suitable for raising large cattle.
