God of the sky
The sky is a fathomless blue and extends far beyond the horizon. In its endless depths and folds of blue, it holds clarity and light. It is the space between the heavens and Astalia, the vault that separates the grassy earth from the watery blue realms far above, the realm controlled by Tizoc. Tizoc is the god of this vault, protecting the sky and air, being god of blue and gray skies alike. He is said to have limited control over weather, living in the clouds of the storm, but ultimately is overpowered by Kazja’s power over the churning depths of the water and sky.
Domains and Flavor
Tizoc is best associated with the domains of Light, Nature, and Tempest. He rarely makes pacts with warlocks, as he tends to be fickle, aloof, and ever-changing, but it is not completely improbable - just rare. Tizoc is often depicted as a storm giant-like humanoid figure with long white hair, adorned in light blue silken garments. His holy symbol is a trident with a long middle spike and two shorter side spikes.
Myths and Relationships
Tizoc is the son of Kazja.
Tizoc historically has had strange relationships with the other deities of celestial bodies. Tizoc is the ruler of the vault that holds the sun, the stars, and the moon, but does not rule over these celestial bodies themselves - if anything, Tizoc is like the window pane that separates Astalia from them and allows visibility to see the outdoors of the celestial bodies above. Tizoc was the one who mitigated the conflict between Nephila and Enki.
Religious Influence
Tizoc is often worshipped in the Unktu Plains or any other wide open area, such as the Jemst desert or the Barren Expanse, because he is the ruler of these areas. He is the endless horizon and deep blue that looms above, as often seen in large, open areas. Temples to Tizoc tend to tower above other buildings in an attempt to be as close to his domain as possible.
