Trench Abyss

The Trench Abyss is a deep-sea trench located to the southeast of Ilkatu. It is named for Anfiria Trench, the air genasi researcher who discovered it. The Abyss is not well-mapped, but is believed to be Astalia's deepest oceanic trench. The trench is located in a remote area of the ocean. Due to its inconvenient location and the failure of previous expeditions to map it, attempts to explore the trench are rare.
