Tyumen
Tyumen is the capital of Harantsi on the Eastern coast. It is also known as the “Stained Glass City,” referred to as such because of the sheer amount of stained glass used in architecture there. Since its settlers, the Harantsi, are master craftsmen of glasswork, Tyumen shows off the best artisanship of this art.
Their economy relies mostly on fishing and trade and they are occasionally raided by pirates from the Skaisles. Their food supply is supplemented by small irrigated farmlands on the outskirts of the city. They have large ports for trade purposes and launch plenty of ships up to Dhulwin docks, the Verges, but mostly to the Skaisles and Ilkatu for shipping when needed. On the outskirts of the city, the more suburban population lives out on the ocean itself, building communities out of wood on stilts above the water. Their population is a combination of many different races due to the nature of the area as a port city, but the area was originally settled by the Harantsi.
The khan of the Harantsi region, Khan Agmen (he/him), resides here. He is a mild-mannered old retired sailor tortle. He lives in a small castle in the center of the city.
