Venificus (Ven-if-ih-cus)

Goddess of learned magic and tame and controlable magic

Venificus is one of the most shy goddesses you'll meet. Those that somehow met her describs her with short, red, pixie cut hair and magician's robes. And her height varies depending on how confident she currently is. The one thing that never differs are the big moon glasses covering a good portion of her face. If she does appear to someone it'd be a scholar trying to perfect their craft, and she'd be there to simply help.

Domains and Flavor

Clerics of Venificus aren't extremely common but typically channel her power over arcana and knowlege. Some even channel her power over the order she has over magic. Many wizards and artificers choose to worship her they they prefer more tame magic. Many schools have a statue or worship area to her somewhere.

Myths and Relationships

Venificus is the sister of Mallean and daughter of Coranth and Lielle.

Religious Influence

Her influence is pretty widespread amongst the scholars of Astalia. Many of them look to her as a guide and look to her for inspiration for their craft.
