Vynaria
Goddess of Wind, River and Song
Vynaria is present in the winding and whistling of all nature. She guides the paths of rivers and soars above them on the wind, taking the form of a young redheaded woman in a dress made of mist, typically carrying an instrument appropriate to the local region.Domains and Flavor
Clerics of Vynaria might channel her aspect of Trickery or worship her as a goddess of Nature. Very rarely, she might be known to grant the might of the Tempest to her worshippers to exact her will. Many rangers and druids worship her, and it is not uncommon for outlanders to encounter her playing a musical instrument on a riverbank. She is especially popularly worshipped and praised in concert halls and theatres of the arts, and has been known to attend especially legendary performances herself.Myths and Relationships
Vynaria is the daughter of Marinus and Aestus, and has been known to play jokes on gods, dragons and mortals alike. Many a dramatic celebrity feud has been fueled by the interest and sibling rivalry of Vynaria and Saltare. She has been depicted as an ally to many mythic heroes of the past, appearing to them along their journey to offer a trickster's wisdom and aid.Religous Influence
Although naturally worshipped widely by songsmiths and bards, Vynaria eschews a formal church and encourages individual worship. She takes delight in appearing to unsuspecting mortals, and sometimes even refrains from playing tricks on them completely if they seem to be expecting it. Simply knowing she inspires such suspicion is enough for her.
