Home before heart
The Jadd'Dull believe that the clan is more important than the person, and so this saying is often repeated.
Your strength is yours
No one is allowed to question the power you have obtained, but you are also responsible for your own actions. Never allow anyone to belittle you, always be ready to be critiqued.
Blackblood!
A common swear used by everyone for almost everything except to someone's face. Calling someone a blackblood is to say that they are everything that is wrong with the world, and will most probably lead to a fight.
Making the mountain sing
A broad term used to describe someone doing a great deed. The tense of "Making" is often changed to reflect the intent of the saying.
To me, you are the stars
The equivalent of saying "I love you". This is an expression of a deep emotional bond, used to describe a person that the speaker cannot live without. It can be said to a romantic partner, a mentor, a close friend, or any other relationship full of true love.
The mountain gives, and so we take
The Jagg'Dull believe that everything they need in life can be found in The Red Spikes, but also that everything they found there is theirs for the taking. They do not recognize any law of the surrounding lands. It is common to say only one part of this saying.
The mountain takes, and so we give
These words are repeated whenever a tragedy strikes the tribe, most commonly when someone of the tribe dies. The life in the mountains is a harsh one and this saying is how the Jagg'Dull acknowledge that fact.
