Owner
The Emporium is owned by the Badgerblade family, who many years ago started the company and gave it their name. Ownership of the company is passed on to one of the children of the former owner. The current owner may freely choose which of their children may inherit the business and this usually sparks a lot of competition inside the family to show themselves worthy of the title. Custodian
The highest rank attainable by a person within the company. Custodians control the company's business within a large area, such as a single country or continent. They are responsible for all enterprises within their area and present their profits on a global scale. Most Custodians belong to long-lived races since it gives them more time to work on the scale required of them. Proprieter
The masters of local business. Proprietors usually handle all Lionshield establishments within a single city or small region. They have full responsibility and control of their personnel and control everything on a day-to-day schedule. The life of a Proprietor is hectic and demanding, but netting high margins will give them a considerable personal gain. Compiler
An Agent who proves to be useful for more than just basic work can be given the rank of Compiler. These individuals usually move past physical grunt work and focus instead on specialized tasks. This can be anything from an inventory manager to magical spymaster. Their work is always based on the specialty they have shown and they can easily find themselves trapped in their position for the rest of their lives since the Emporium has more use for them there than further up the corporate ladder. All of the Emporium's ground forces are Agents. Whether it's merchants, caravan-runners, spies, bodyguards or whatever else the organization might need at the time. Working for the Emporium is usually a good job as they pay well and don't have too many dangerous endeavors. The hiring process is quite tough and only a few people ever get selected, usually those with the certain skills the local Proprietor is looking for at the moment.
