Miner's Exchange

A trading post where miners have their valuable finds weighed, measured and paid out. Also serves as an unofficial records office (as there isn't anything official around). Claims are registered here to various streams and excavations. There's no real goldrush but there's enough hidden to support a good number of prospectors.

It's a great place to meet people who spend a lot of time out and about in the countryside. The guild master is  Halia Thornton.

When you enter the exchange, you'll find surly miners talking to each other, trying to gage if there's a find somewhere. They look at strangers with suspicion as to their gold, prospects, etc are things well-kept secret. So there is doubt and hostility at first.

Convince them you're not here for gold and they'll gossip like fish wives.
