An investigative journalist from Kalidai, News Flash started off with impressive potential. Surpassing most other reports, whilst also intending to always seek the truth and never twist a story, she quickly rose to the top in her field. However, she is rather prideful of her work, and when her abilities were forced to be proven to oppose a fellow journalist, a particular kamera kirin, for a top spot at her workplace, she opted to walk.
Moving to Bakersville, News joined the city's sect of the Bannermanes and learned the art of being an investigator. It became an optimal choice, as the career worked in tandem with her current style of journalism. She quickly excelled in the field, finding herself loving the prospect of assisting adventurers, sorting out mysteries, and doing what she could to help the right causes. Although, with her work came many troubles, and no less directly towards her. The occassional nosey detective work landed her in the eyes of the mob, and their relentless attacks, hits, and more sent to her have taught her the means to defend herself rather thoroughly. Rather well-versed in regards to combat capability, she's managed to scrap by for now.
Though, her journey and goals have led her to roam outwards, finding new creatures and ponies alike to meet, interview, or interrogate if the cause demands it. Regardless, she's eager to spread her knowledge and help make this world a better place---even if it may seem minor in the grand scheme.
