Broken

A broken unit has lost the will to fight, and must spend their action retreating in an ordered fashion. On its turn (immediately if it breaks during its turn), it takes the disengage action. Rather than taking a movement, it immediately leaves the field of battle in its current state (it may still take damage from the act of disengaging). If there is no safe path to a reinforcement zone, it shatters. Each time it takes damage before it disengages, it must make a morale check or shatter. A broken unit is not affected by the encouraged or inspired condition.
