Yondred Barbarians
The Yondred barbarians are a band local to the hills of Southern Schleswig. During the great plague that suffocated the land, they managed to survive by staying far from civilization and praying upon small settlements that seemed to be unaffected but the blight. Recently, the newest leader of this band, known as Mogh, has made the decision to interact a small number of settlements and townships in a diplomatic way in order to stave off conflict. Numbering around 200, this nomadic group has made its name by hunting great beasts and monsters in the area and trading their carcasses, pelts and distinct features to merchants with enough ale, medicine, or slaves to meet the demand. Every Yondred is trained to be a skilled hunter and formidable foe in battle. They secure their numbers by using female slaves as mothers for new stock. Although they have recently made connections with the civilized world, it is still not a wise choice to assume this group is a friendly one. Attacks by the Yondred are showcased by a pike adorned with a freshly slain boars head in the middle of the carnage.
