Lazini "Boomer" Fizzlebang is an artificer and tinkerer, apprentice of Arixi Cobblepocket. She's curious, friendly, and outgoing. Boomer is great at analysis and puzzles, and truly awful at picking up social cues and thinking through her actions.

Physical Description

Body Features

Boomer is easily identifiable in a crowd by her unruly mass of curly brown hair. She is covered with freckles anywhere that is exposed to the sun for more than five minutes, and she has warm brown eyes that are magnified by her gold glasses. Boomer’s glasses have two movable lenses, one of which magnifies objects up close and one of which helps her see details further away.

Apparel & Accessories

Her typical outfit is a coarse tunic, often burned or stained in strange places as a result of an experiment gone wrong, and a set of studded leather work gear: gloves, apron, trousers, and boots. She adorns herself with cool rocks she finds, regardless of whether they’re worth anything.

When she fights, she wields a battered wooden shield (a hand-me-down from her mother) and a set of tinker’s tools. Firebolt is her go-to damage dealer, which she “casts” by using a slingshot she rigged up from her tools to shoot a firecracker at an enemy.

Religious Views

Arixi passed on the teachings of the Gears of Erathis to Boomer. Boomer considers herself a Tinker and believes in the River philosophy: though she will never stop inventing things and reworking her inventions to make them better, she also knows that they can become meaningless if someone else has a revolutionary new idea, and that’s okay. All knowledge flows downstream to something greater than its component parts, like tributaries of a river.
