Chief Pathfinder

These Pathfinders are responsible for the operations on a single guild hall and the guild members therein, wherever it may be located. They answer to the Windspeaker of the region (or the High Windspeaker, should they be present), and are in charge of day-to-day operations, as well as assigning jobs to the members of their guild hall, and are assisted in doing so by their Adjutants. Chief Pathfinders normally do not take jobs themselves, however many are still very capable of doing so, as rising to the rank required first reaching at least the rank of Far-Ranger. Chiefs who do assign jobs to themselves usually feel they have no one else they can entrust the job to, or simply tire of paperwork and long to feel the road beneath their feet once again. In the latter instances, this is known as "going for a stroll," and is seen as perfectly acceptable, and even encouraged, so long as it does not occur too often. Often, Chiefs will take jobs to improve their assignment record (and thus, their standing in the eyes of their superiors), especially if they have yet to attain the rank of Trueseeker (a requirement for holding the rank of Windspeaker).
