Kesseroth
Demographics
Mostly human, with a smattering of other races as well, many of whom are not permanent residents, but sailors passing through.
Government
Mayor sits at the head of the town council, which handles city planning and maintenance, passes local ordinances, and sits in judgement of those who break them.
- Mayor - Osner Isana
- Archist - Gerevor Sylcoril
- Town Planner - Arla Kin
- Dockmaster - Yola Siltcraw
- Master of Coin - Nithra Omedo
- Captain of the Ardentwatch Garrison - Arelu Stonebreaker (not technically a part of the council, as he is not an elected official, but has a voice at meetings in regard to matters of security)
Defences
A sturdy, 10 foot stone wall surrounds three sides of the town, with the sea marking the town's western border. The wall is about 6 feet thick, with enough room at the top for single file movement. A large, heavy wooden gate denotes the town's main entrance and exit. Each of the other two walls (north and south) have smaller gates that permit access in those directions, as well.
Industry & Trade
Mostly fisherman and sailors. A few farms dot the landscape outside the town's walls, and a handful of residents are responsible for hunting game in the surrounding woodlands.
Infrastructure
One large main cobblestone avenue with smaller streets to either side, all running perpendicular to the shoreline. A network of alleys crisscross between the streets.

Tourism
Though it is a smaller town, Kesseroth still holds a prominent place in the trading industry thanks to its location along Aseria's western shoreline of the Ladrian Sea. Most trade intended for the various settlements in the Northvale Woodlands goes through Kesseroth. As a result, the town usually sees a fair amount of outsiders in the form of sailors and merchant ships.
Architecture
Mostly well-built buildings, stone foundations, wooden upper stories. Side streets and alleys have a few ramshackle buildings made entirely of wood, but it's a smaller town, so there aren't many buildings to begin with.
Geography
The town is surrounded on three sides (north, south and east) by the Northvale Woodlands, and bordered on the remaining western side by the Ladrian Sea.
Natural Resources
- Timber, game, and other woodland resources from the Northvale Woodlands
- Fish, kelp, and other ocean resources from the Ladrian Sea
