Slaughter in the Swamp

One of the longest full-scale conflicts between The Astorian Pact and The Adamant Empire in the The Freedom War, the Slaughter in the Swamp was a grueling victory for the Pact. Eight days of near-constant battle, trudging through knee-deep, murky water hunting down the last remnants of the Imperial army in Argon. But in the end, the Pact came out with hardly a scratch, while the Empire's troops were utterly annihilated.
