Human population centres, Lewyn was significantly impacted by the event. Characterised by hundreds of linked earthquakes, each huge in size, giant caverns opening up and capable of being seen from space, and the eruption of two supervolcanoes, the event is widely seen as an act of power beyond anything Humanity has ever proven capable of.
The planet was populated by a population reaching over 236 million, spread across fourteen major cities. An independent planet, located between the Galactic Superpowers in the
Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets and the
4th Imperial Republic of Jerace, there was little its small government could do to rescue its population. Mere hours after the collapse began, a grand evacuation effort was organised by the
Interstellar and
Imperial Navy, with permission from the Lewyn Republic.
