"...There is a lord amongst men, whose strength shall surpass that of all his foes... Whose nation will conquer those pretenders to the south and west. For that is his destiny."The Prophecy of Greatness was a supposed prophecy given to the Emperor of Jerace Ergan II, by a supposed fortune teller, around the year 3980. It is known today as the Myth of the Prophecy of Greatness as it is perceived to be a story prevalent around the citizenry during the 2nd Galactical War. The Prophecy of Greatness is almost certainly a myth, that spread around the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets during the time of the 2nd Galactical War to portray Emperor Ergan II as a foolish emperor who listens to fortune tellers and prophets more than an actual court. The myth was most popular around Iomhare, where it spread uncontrolled to almost every sector of the Federation. Accountings of the myth were banned across the 3rd Empire of Jerace, and perpetrators were sentenced to hard labour or conscription.-Excerpts from "The Prophecy of Greatness"
