Techist Creed of the Metal Cog
The Techist Creed of the Metal Cog is an organization, started in 399 A.F, which worships The City, a sort of spiritual manifestation of the Creed's Home-Metropolis Lagoon City on the desertic world of Ferrin II.
Situated around the Nyx's Source Subsector, this organization is still rather small compared to other Cults and Religions but remains quite powerful within the Ferrin System. The image on the right is the emblem used by the Creed as a way to represent their faith on a diplomatic scale. The Two Wings represent the expansion of Civilization across the heavens (The Milky Way in this case) ; The Major Cog represents the Efficacy of the Creed's Children and their fellow sapient species ; second to last are the Three Wrenches which represent the Will to "fix" the denizens of the stars (Essentially everyone who is not part of the Creed). And finally, we have the Core which represents the Singularity achieved through the combined three aspects.
However, as faithful as members of the Creed can be, every organization requires one or several leading figures. In this case, the Creed of the Metal Cog is lead by a single individual, the High Machinist, as well as the Council of Processing which are the combined power of the Five Elders.
The High Machinist and the Five Elders are the original founders of the Creed. Additionally, it is common practice for the High Machinist to never show themselves to the masses and the Creed's acolytes, only the Elders may be in the direct presence of their esteemed leader.
Furthermore, each Elder controls a certain number of Churches and people leading splinters of the Creed. Said people are known as Repeaters, bosses of groups that are part of the Creed. They are directly under their respective Elders and work according to their orders.
