Guinevere Kanemoto
Having stayed along the coast of Olmacta for most of her life, she had a particular affinity for making all sorts of things. Though it first started with alchemy, as her family were all alchemists, brewers, and herbalists by trade. So she knew some things from others about these professions. Though she particularly specialized in alchemy, she was a very intelligent and bright girl. So she sought out more knowledge, and went to a school for arcane arts, to which it was realized that she had a reservoir of magical energy at her fingertips, to which she focused her efforts on a few things: Blood control, from her vampiric origins, changing and altering her looks to permanently change her appearance one day, infusing the musket she had repaired with a bit of magical force, and the art of summoning.
Her lifelong companion was a bat that she had named Celosia. Throughout her time at Wae Academy, where she learned specifically about alteration and conjuration, she sought to give her lifelong companion a more proper, humanoid form. And with time, she succeeded, though there was much she still had to teach Celosia, as Guinevere herself was effectively the smarter of the two, although Celosia could now think for herself while still being bound to Guinevere, since it was with her power that she came to be in that form.
By the time Guinevere had finished her studies at Wae Academy, she had successfully done much of what she wanted, and eventually she began to grow wings, and she was able to achieve the same with Celosia, with both of their wings resembling bats, with Guinevere's being more pink and Celosia's a brighter red. It's still relatively simple to tell the two apart, as Guinevere has silver hair in comparison to Celosia's black hair.
Although after that, Guinevere had one final thing on her mind: She's fully embracing her vampiric origins, and wants to get as close as she can to true vampirism as she can, without going the full way. That's why she ventures today. To find those answers. She and Celosia have a long road ahead of them to get to that point. Who knows what will happen once she attains that power.
