Slaying Titans: The Phoenix Hunt

"Good mercenaries of Betoros, I, Orion Meskil, come to you with a most profitable task. Due to an encounter with a Leviathan, I am convinced that other great and beasts spoken of mostly in myth can be found. I seek to gather trophies from some of them, and you may make use of the rest of the corpses. Now, I shall be seeking out the Life-Feather of a Pheonix."

The party climbed into a volcano and encountered a Phoenix, which they foolishly tried to talk with. Talking of course is pointless, because it is a phoenix, and you can't reason with those. They later fought and killed it once, only to feel conflicted about doing so. In any case, the Life Feather was acquired.
