An Introduction to Astralis

The universe of Astralis is where the fantasy series, Queens of Treason, takes place. Altough there is a slight chance the knowledge and research in these worlds will be advanced enough so that my characters would call these things common knowledge. This whole section, as well as the entire page of this world is meant to be read as if it were a book someone at a university, many centuries after these events, would pick up and study as they were persuing their education.
This page is meant to be a comprehensive guide on the ecology, magic, history, and geography of the two worlds. From the minute details regarding why old but influential empires fell, to the biology behind why a certain plant, the Asplenia Heraenea, plant grows in the Norovian forests and why the plants are deadly to humans.
As a general note, while a lot of these discussions and fields of study can differ, they all depend on each other. An example would be the constant dance between the two types of magic, the science behind why the magic is the way it is, and the mythology behind it. The textbook will also be discussing critical points in history which were caused by the phenomena that make Astralis what it is.
Another important study in these worlds would be the facts that, although there are scientific explanations for a lot of the natural phenomena, people have also come to follow religions which help them explain the exact same things. There are multiple religions mentioned throughout this page, and while there isn't enough evidence to suggest that there are no supernatural deities behind the events, the world also lacks evidence to tell clearly which deities or beliefs systems are correct. Throughout the texts, these religions, philosophies, and belief systems will be treated with unbiased, documented accounts for how they have been followed throughout history.
 The most important thing to gain from these texts, and the discussions on Astralis in the world is the discussion of harmony between everything. Whether it's the ecology and magic system creating their own cycles, or if it's a great storm in a specific area causing a major turning point in history.
