Astrum

Astrum, once a world of vibrant life and vivid skies, now lies under the oppressive shroud of Nihilok’s Veil. In epochs long past, Astrum was a beacon of celestial beauty, with its landscapes bathed in the radiant light of Vismyth and the gentle glow of the twin moons, Sahren and Lysara. The land flourished with diverse civilizations that thrived under the warmth of the sun and the guiding constellations that painted the night sky. However, the hubris of the Kelek Order unleashed an ancient eldritch entity, Nihilok, transforming Astrum into a realm of perpetual darkness and despair.   The world is now cloaked in eternal night, a stark contrast to its former glory. The once-lustrous landscapes have faded into desolation, with only the faint, eerie glow of bioluminescent flora breaking the oppressive darkness. The sky, once adorned with celestial bodies, is now an impenetrable black void, reflecting the desolation that grips the land. Amidst this gloom, the remnants of civilization struggle to adapt and survive. The Lumin, bearers of the fading constellations’ legacy, harness their inner light to push back the encroaching dark. Other races, like the Urathi, Arthians, and Drasklin, have also found unique ways to endure, each carving their paths in this transformed world. Together, they navigate the challenges of a world reshaped by Nihilok's malevolent influence, fighting to rekindle the forgotten radiance that once defined Astrum.
