Felinoid sebb (sing. -ka)
Chitra are felinoid (humanoid w/ catlike characteristics). Very agile, nimble. Excellent at fine dexterity skills such as weaving, stringed instruments.
Chitra are strong, territorial, protective.
Specifically altered in the cloud to be warriors. They tend either toward dominion, that is, right and proper stewardship of their areas of responsibility, or toward domination-- plain old takin' over.

Called Ahl Yek: People of the Hunt.
Their primary governmental body is the Thing (council) made of representatives of the various prides (matriarchal clans). The prides usually distinguishable by fur markings (stripes, spots, etc) and definitively noted in Pride Marks: most frequently patterns shaved into the fur, occasionally deliberate scarring (cuts) with specific dyes rubbed into the healing wounds for coloration.

Cultural option 1: First Peoples? esp Tsalagi? Males generally tend to be hunters/warriors (Providers/Protectors), females tend to be gatherers/growers (“domestic arts” including herbology, agriculture, pottery, weaving, etc). Males may have superior strength and stamina and will lead in times of war or when the pride is on the move, but the females rule the roost. As soon as the pride stops to make their encampment, they assume command.
