This realm has changed so much in my slumber, oh faithless mine, it is time to get back to work.
Argynvost was a silver dragon that presided over the order of the Knights of Argynvostholt. The Knights sought to do good in the valley of Barovia, and made an assault on Strahd. The Knights were unsuccessful, and Strahd killed the dragon. His skull was kept in Castle Ravenloft as a trophy. The Fangs were able to retrieve his skull after Strahd was dispatched. Tessa brought his skull back to Argynvostholt, bringing peace to the order and allowing the revenants within the order their final rest.
During the final battle with Strahd, the cleric Mr. Sneakman would become the physical avatar of Argynvost, embodying a silver dragon, while his friends and companions fled through various teleportation portals. Tessa never saw Mr. Sneakman, but beleives that he died when he became an aspect. In truth, Tessa hunts for Argynvost, believing him to have returned through the profound belief Mr. Sneakman brought to the Ankansanata.
