Hurl Flame
This spell is unique to Fiends and Demons, created to mock a more powerful Devil spell. There is no record of a mortal being able to learn this spell, instead an item of fiendish or demonic power must grant the caster the ability.
Effect
You hurl a ball of fire at a target within range. The target creature of a 5x5 square must make a successful dexterity save as a ball of fire is hurled at them, or take 2d6+3+spellcasting modifer worth of fire damage.
Side/Secondary Effects
The target does not need to be seen, and the ball of fire can round corners and travel down streets woth ease, tracking down its target with fiendish intent.
Manifestation
The ball of fire that manifests is darker and more blood colored than standard magical flames. It also swirls with dark flames. The mixture of flames produces a very distinct brimstone that can be smellable in the air for up to 8 hours after casting.
