Luci

She called it "Lucy" (or Luci, I'm not sure, it does not matter), I called it shadowspawn, hellwalker, curruptor, fiend. 
She said it was her 'familiar'. I believed her,.
It called itself ally and friend of the lion lady. I did not believe it, even when the 'lion lady' agreeded.
It reminded me of the things my tribe would call up and conjure on the moonless nights in the snowy peaks.
She then pulled out THAT book. The book of the Dead in the tounge of my people, and I knew that book well. 
So I fled like mad out of the basement and into the forest, for I knew what vile things lay in those pages. 
I was not suprised when next they found me in the forest, covered in dirt and sweat, in a daze from an unseen branch to the head. And then. They told me.  Told me that something had come from that book and eaten the wizard whole.
The Lion Lady looked happy as they told me this, and I could see that thing she calls Lucy
