Chapter One, The Guardian Constellations and their Charges
In the old times, the world worshipped the Stars, and we should soon return to it unless we risk the unforeseen consequences.
The Stars of Asyur are divided into fourteen constellations. Three of them are the major constellations, known as the Guardians. These are the Fighter, the Wizard, and the Rouge. Each of the Guardians protects its Charges from the fourteenth constellation, the Draco.
When the Sun rises near one of the constellations, it is that constellation's season. Most of each constellation has a Season of approximately one month.
The Fighter
The Fighter is the first Guardian Constellation and he protects his Charges during their Seasons. The Fighter's own season is Rova when his Strength is needed for the harvest. His sole Charge is the Barbarian. Those born under the sign of the Fighter are skilled with weapons and armors of all kinds but are prone to short tempers.
The Barbarian
The Barbarian is the one and only Charge of the Fighter, and his season is Sarenith at the middle of the year. Those born under the sign of the Barbarian are impatient and always hurrying from one place to another.
The Monk
The Monk is the Guardian Constellation whose Season is Lamashan when the stars and heavens are at their closest. His Charges are the Cleric, the Paladin, and the Bloodhunter. Those born under the sign of the Monk are usually wise, and skilled with their fists, but are often arrogant and self-righteous.
The Cleric
The Cleric is one of the Monk's Charges, and her season is Abadius, at the start of the year. Those born under the sign of the Cleric are passionate, but can also be impatient and hurrying like the Barbarian.
The Paladin
The Paladin is one of the Monk's Charges, and his season is Gozran, the month of change and war. Those born under the sign of the Paladin are stronger and healthier than those born under other signs, finding it easier to fend off diseases.
The Bloodhunter
The Bloodhunter is one of the Monk's Charges and has no season of his own. Because of this, his season is a week, the last three days of Pharast, and the last 4 days of Gorzan. Those born under this sign are often arrogant, and headstrong, but also find it easier to resist disease and imbibe foul concoctions.
The Rouge
The Rouge is the third Guardian Constellation, and her Season is the darkest month of Kuthona. Her Chargers are the Bard, the Ranger, and the Warlock. Those born under the sign of the Rouge are not typically thieves, though they take risks more often and only rarely come to harm. They will run out of luck eventually, however, and rarely live as long as those born under other signs.
The Bard
The Bard is one of the Rouge's Charges, and her season is Desnus, the month of love. Those born under the sign of the Bard are graceful and passionate.
The Ranger
The Ranger is one of the Rouge's Charges, and his season is Erastus, the month of change for most plants. Those born under the Ranger find animals easy to understand.
The Warlock
The Warlock is one of the Rouge's Charges, and her season is Neth, the month of pacts. Those born under this sign have a variety of abilities depending on the aspects of the moons and the Divines.
The Wizard
The Wizard is the last Guardian Constellation, whose season is Erastus when magic was first used by men. His Charges are the Artificer, the Druid, and the Sorcerer. Those born under the Wizard have a more magical talent for all kinds of spellcasting but are often arrogant and absent-minded.
The Artificer
The Artificer is one of the Wizard's Charges, and she has no season. One is not born under the sign of the Artificer, as it never truly sits directly over the world, however, one can find it through enough hard work and dedication to a specific craft or talent. Those who find this sign are usually headstrong tempered with kindness.
The Druid
The Druid is one of the Wizard's Charges, and her season is Arodus, the month of change and early harvest. Those born under the Druid are usually distant from others, but helpful and kind tenders of the land, while also being a bit arrogant with other cultures and ideas.
The Sorcerer
The Sorcerer is one of the Wizard's Charges, and his season is Calistril. Those born under the Sorcerer have a special affinity for magic but are more vulnerable to the curses of magic as well.
Chapter 2, The Divines
We separate the so-called holy and the good as if these qualities could be ascribed to these beings, as different from their counterparts the bad and wicked. As if these beings were not all Divine!?
I propose a question. If the gods were so good, then were they? We can speak to their saints and avatars, but the so-called gods hide behind stone statues and false priests! Whereas the so-called Lords of Ruin walk around freely, openly displaying themselves to all races of the world! Now, why is that?
Because the so-called gods are not gods but imposters! This world, this realm, it is a dead, decaying body of a god! Why else is it that the so-called gods can die? The true Divines cannot die!
This realm, improperly named the Material Plane, is in fact the realm of the Great One! His heart is the heart of the world! It still beats. For he is a god! A proper Divine! Who cannot die!
