Chasing the Dragon Report

General Summary

The party marched west in pursuit of the blue dragon.  After meeting some friendly nomads they found what looked like a wagon train which had been ambushed while retreating back toward Monterra.  After another day's march the party located the abandoned fort, and were ambushed by desert elves.  Billy Bob's song, attempting to convince the elves of the party's heroics, managed to attract a giant sand worm.
Once the worm was defeated the party learned that the desert elves were in the service of Abraxis the Younger, the blue dragon who considers the area his domain.  They thank the party for saving them from the worm, and show the party where Abraxis's lair can be found.  They caution the party to beware of the Thunder Kobolds, who worship Abraxis.  
The party meets the Thunder Kobolds, and Anton shows them how to make concentrated elf grass.  The kobolds, convinced that the Scions know how to party, agree to take everyone to meet Abraxis.
Abraxis's lair is filled with defaced art work, looted imperial weapons and armor, and Abraxis himself is sitting on a giant pile of gold and attempting to drink wine from an Imperial cask.  He asks the party why they dare to enter his lair, and if fate has brought the Wyrmstealer to his doorstep.
