Dwarven Alliance

Dwarves can be found throughout the empire, and have built intricate mountain strongholds rarely seen by non-human eyes. They have remained neutral throughout the years of squabbling amongst the Hadrians and their neighbors, and have made a tidy profit selling the raw materials to wage war. Although the dwarves are not trusted by Hadrian nobility, they have become too powerful to publicly criticize. The Dwarven Alliance has a virtual monopoly on mining ores and precious metals, and often find themselves allied with the interests of the merchant class.
