Hunting the Arch Magus pt. 10 Report

General Summary

Theodosius had summoned First Spear Hektor, captain of the Laconian Honor Guard, to destroy the Scions.  However, when Anton stole the spear head from the ritual table it disrupted the summoning and allowed Hektor to pursue his murderer, Theodosius.  Mork, who was holding the spear head, threw it into Hektor's chest, freezing him in place and temporarily sating his lust for vengeance.
Hektor told the party he cannot stay his rage for long, and that he must be the one who plunges his spear into Theodosius to be released from his curse.  Dralin tells the party they should honor his wish; Hektor was a fellow veteran of the Great Serasian Crusade.  The party agrees, and Theodosius uses the distraction to escape through a dimension door.  Hektor disappears, and in his place a sigil from the Laconian honor guard appears, humming with holy power.
After the events of the evening Dralin brings two captured suspects to Chandrilla, Legelo and Venetias, the children of two prominent council members.  The prisoners confirm that Theodosius is the ringleader for the Order of Flame and Sigil, and he's planning something big - most likely a political assassination.  
Dralin wants to execute the prisoners, but Wanda convinces him to give the prisoners over to Chandrilla.  The prisoners are escorted to a pocket dimension, where they are greeted as "guests" by a mind flayer dressed in Nikean wizard robes.  The party learns that his name is Urd, and he is a friend of the council.
When the party returns to their quarters they find an unsigned sending stone.  It tells the Scions to meet at the docks at midnight, it's time for them to learn the truth.
