Hunting the Arch Magus pt. 9 Report

General Summary

The Scions decided to infiltrate the initiation ritual for the Order of the Flame and Sigil.  You received cloaks that were able to disguise your identities, and managed to bluff your way past the guards to enter the manor.  Once inside, you had a chance to mingle with various partygoers and overheard talk of ending the Empire's oppression, riding Nikea of the Laconians, and rumors that the Arch Magus is blackmailing Chandrilla.
After finding out the initiation ritual is actually a ritualistic orgy, the Scions managed to find a trap door which lead them to some sort of inner sanctum.  There, they meet with Theodosius, who tells you that the ritual will exploit an astral rift in the basement of the Arcanium to enter the vault in Iowen's temple.  Anton filches a spear head lying on the ritual table just as Dralin burst in, who commands Theodosius to surrender or face Krom's justice.  Theodosius refuses, and a fight breaks out.
Even though the fight is going in the party's favor, there is ominous clanging and wailing coming from the door to the North...
