Island of the Lost
A tropical island somewhere in the Middle Sea. Mysterious storms have caused ships to wreck on the island's shores with disturbing regularity, making the locals wonder if there is something more sinister at play.
A group of halflings has erected a village on the southern tip of the island from the various bits of wrecked ships that have washed up on the shore. Lately, the number of inhabitants of the village have grown as the number of shipwrecks has increased.
The island is also home to a native population of grungs and gnolls. Because the forests and jungles of the island are extremely dangerous, the halflings have never explored much further than a few miles from their village. Few who have ventured deeper ever return.
