Shipwrecked Pt. 7 Report

General Summary

The party fought off a murder of harpies. Billy Bob found a sword covered in strange runes. Most of the power seems dormant, but it functions as a long sword +1 for the moment.
After defeating the harpies the party found ancient ruins protected by a naga. It tells the party that the source of corruption for the island can be found in a temple to the south, and one that calls itself The Kraken has been slowly distorting the island. He also mentions that a fire giant king resides in the volcano north of the temple, and that he may be able to help.
The party crosses to the volcano and are intercepted by fire newts riding lizards. They convince the newts to take them to see their king, and they lead the part through a series of obsidian tunnels to the throne room of the fire giant. The throne room is surrounded by magma on all sides, and the giant bellows at the party, asking them how they found out about the place and if they are agents of the Kraken. Billy Bob convinces the fire giant that they are also fighting the Kraken, and he sits them down and invites them to feast while he discusses his battle plans.
