Erevan

Erevan is an adventurer currently working with the Order of the Doleful Aspect.

Backstory

The son of refugees from the destruction of Déon, Erevan grew up hearing tales of his grandfather Erolith, a mighty battlemage who died on the steps of the Grand Temple of Liadon during the Ajokai conquest. Erevan dreamed of wielding the immense power that he once did, but unfortunately it seemed that power did not manifest itself, just as it didn’t manifest in his father either. Over the years he came to terms with the fact that he was destined for the life of a mundane farmer. But on his 50th birthday he noticed something strange. Staring into the fireplace in his family’s home, the flames began to dance more and more wildly. He reached out, and the flames leapt from the hearth into the palm of his hand. In excitement, he showed his family who were overjoyed and impressed. He spent weeks practicing with the flames, making them dance in his hands. One day he decided to use your powers to help with his family’s slash-and-burn farming, but the fire was more than he could handle and it raged out of control, burning his home down and his family with it.
Grief-stricken, he fled and attempted to keep his powers hidden. But once the conduit to his abilities was opened, he could not close it again. In desperation he decided to seek out the Eloqui Order, hoping they could teach him to control his abilities, or even remove them altogether. He traveled to the city of Ömstad, where he asked around in taverns how to contact the Order. He encountered a man who said he had information on how to contact the order, but in the process of talking to him was drugged and tossed into a prison cart.
