Murad II Rumiyyad

Murad II was the seventh monarch of the Rumiyyad Autarchy. A member of the Cult of Pashet, he has a reputation of being just and fair. During his reign, the Autarchy expanded its circle of influence to include Norretain and the Jùzir Isles.
In 1855, Murad was attacked in the Palace of the Oracle by a mysterious beast. This beast was later discovered by the Res-Ramblers to have been Murad's daughter Rashida, who in anger at being passed over for succession had intentionally infected herself with lycanthropy as part of a dark ritual to Solkath. While Rashida was defeated by the Res-Ramblers, Murad succumbed to the injuries sustained in the attack several days later despite the best efforts of Elria Sylvistra.
