Turkraken

The Turkraken was a legendary beast rumored to exist in the eastern Reisenland. It was long suspected to be little more than a myth until it directly attacked the town of Federwern in 1840IR, where it was defeated by the Jubilee Brigade.
According to legend the Turkraken slumbered beneath Lake Allenfeld, awakening roughly every two hundred years to wreak havoc on the surrounding countryside before returning to its sleep. Its awakening is said to be accompanied by mutated droghbirds that run wild before it.
