Tyr
The Lord of Justice (a.k.a. The Evenhanded, The Righteous, the Maimed God, Tyr the Blind)
Tyr is the god of justice. He and his followers are devoted to the righting of wrongs, discovering the truth, and delivering appropriate sentences for the innocent and the guilty. The rigid adherence to lawfulness and honesty is a demanding lifestyle, and his followers know not to hold others in contempt for not living every facet of their life like they do-- to live justly requires an uncommon strength of will. Tyr is often depicted as a blind warrior missing his right hand-- two afflictions earned long ago in acts of bravery and sacrifice for the cause of justice. His blindness may variously be illustrated by empty white sockets or by a blindfold.
