The Xorotan Academy

The Xorotan Academy is the most prestigious academy for the training of psionicists in Takol. It is named after its founder the famous telepath and former consort of the queen.
Students at the academy comes from all classes and children of slaves and nobles are taught side by side with no regard for their background. While there is a significant tuition fee those with the required psionic talent can often find a sponsor willing to pay the fee in return for future services. As such the academy is one of the few venues for social mobility in Takol.
While most of the students at the academy hone their mastery of the will and the way for the purpose of becoming psionicists about a third of the student follow a more martial branch of study. These students follow a rigid curriculum of unarmed combat training and meditation designed by Xorotan and Kravann to enhance their physical capabilities.
