The Avarian Theocracy holds that in the time after Heaven's Fall, a legendary hero lead a group of dwarves out of the darkness, and created a great nation. This dwarf, named Sigismund Windsworn in life, set down the foundation for the Theocracy, and when he passed, he was worshipped as Sigis, Of The Wind.

Worship of Sijis follows a few tenets:

• The future awaits us; never neglect it
• Our neighbours defend us; never abuse them
• Our hearts guide us; never shun them

Divine Goals & Aspirations

In life, Sigis never instructed anyone to worship him as a god. His goals in life were to teach his people to love, to strengthen them but never to use their strength against others.
