The caital of the Nortanian empire which sits by Tooth Lake.

Demographics

Other groups of people have very mixed feelings about the nation with being at war with the dwarves and being overall a mediocre society.

Government

King with 12 families making up a council which are families chosen by the king. In the voting posses around laws either the king or a council designs a law and the council debates the law with the king as a tie-breaker. The king can also count as 3 votes as a sort of veto that only could work.

Defences

A very fortified wall surrounds the inner city. On top of the perch where the castle sits many protections are put in place.

Industry & Trade

The city trades with many towns up and down the Blarkon river and around the lake. The things traded are very diverse but are often manufactued by crafters.

Infrastructure

A large sewersystem lies underneath the city. Roads that streach throughout the city and well beyond. Shipyards sit at the lake trading with many towns up and down the Blarkon river.

Districts

There is a floating district on the lake that houses some 200 boats. Merchant district spreads through the city. More modest neighborhoods are homes for people who may be a part of the Golden Griffons.

Assets

Many riches are in the city which are mostely held by the king.

Guilds and Factions

In order to most favored to least: The Golden Griffons (richest non-royals), Lordship's Forces, Kingdom's Spellcasters, Celestial Oathers (religious folk who pledge to Pelor and Sehanine), Readearcher's Guild, Merchant's Guild, Monument Forgers (builders and ones who do the dirtywork of the city), unfactioned (ones that will not be accepted into a faction, like convicts), and King'sfall Allegiance (secret faction against the king and many are 'unfactioned.'

History

Grown a lot as a city in the time it has been around always has had a King Nort...

Points of interest

The higher parts of the city where the rich often live. Outskirts of town where unfactioned often live. Twig Park and Town Square north of it. The Arena and the Celestial Cathedral north of it. Also of course the castle.

Tourism

Tourists would mainly be people coming from the west to see the games or visit their capital.

Architecture

Half-timber houses with whitewashed walls with ocean blue roofs and doors that symbolize their faction.

Geography

West of the Rocky Plains but just east of Tooth Lake. North to the amber mountains but south of the Wailing Forest.

Climate

Very mild climate with ocasional rain/snow storms.

Common livestock, water, metals, crops like wheat, sugar, and corn, fish, timber/wood, and stones.
