Trans-Dimensional Harmonics

To many, the number of similarities between Our Earth and Atlantica may be too many to discard. Some in fact may look for some divergence point in which the two worlds separated. None in fact exists. Instead, Our Earth and Atlantica are very different but bound together in a concept called Trans-Dimensional Harmonics. The effect is similar to musical strings set close to one another, when one starts to vibrate, the other begins to do so as well. Thus it is with Trans-Dimensional Harmonics. Both worlds are completely independent and do not touch one another but lay "close" enough together that things that were a cause and effect relationship in one, the other picks up the "vibration" and the probability of something similar occurrence in the other increases significantly. For example while the Roman Catholic church in Our Earth has a complete causal chain, the Leutitian sect in many of the same equivalent regions in Atlantica seem to have a similar structure and outlook. This is not to say that the Leutitians do not have a full causality chain, but instead the similarities seem to have been picked up in both dimensions and harmonize with one another. Hence many times events conspire to produce an outcome that looks similar to that of one another. You might ask then, which came first? Did events on Our Earth cause the harmonic in Atlantica? We cannot know because we do not know how many dimensions are bound up in this harmonic effect. Indeed, even this complex theory while discussed in depth by the scholars of Atlantica has its own version here on our earth. Here, it is known as "Shit Happens".

An excellent example of Trans-Dimensional Harmonic cause and effect is the Great Fire of London in the 1600's in our world. In Atlantica the fire was actually intentionally set, but the effect was so powerful that the causality actually transferred over to Our Earth where the fire was unintentional. While it started in a bakery in Our Earth, even had that fire been put out, it would have started again somewhere else.
