Aivitu

Aivitu is the entity that created all life on earth. It's primary task is given by an ancient race we do not know. Aivitu starts the terraforming process early at the beginning of our planet, around 4 billion years ago.

The probes hit earth and ignite single cell life forms. (We know these probes as LHB meteorites. Several probes are targeted at our solar system.

The main purpose of Aivitu is to create an environment for protohumans. It's however unknown why Aivitu exists.
