Apollo Leonidis (a.k.a. Rizzard of Amaterasu)

Sir Apollo Leonidis was a tiefling born to an impoverished family in the underworld of Amaterasu. When he was only 9, his parents sold him to a large brothel and left Amaterasu for an unknown destination. As a tiefling, a race largely uncommon within the bounds of the capital, the young Apollo was extremely desirable to brothel regulars, making him not only popular in a sense but one of the highest earners at the establishment. During his time at work, in addition to amassing a large sum of money throughout his 11 years at the brothel, Apollo himself became increasingly sociable and outgoing. He was, and still is, the textbook example of a charismatic man, complete with a near-irresistible attractiveness and magnetic personality. Best of all, his persuasive demeanor gave him access to one of the greatest payments of all, something better than gold itself – secrets. In their most vulnerable moments, patrons revealed the most personal aspects of their lives to the handsome Apollo, even when not prompted to do so. Behind the curtains, he became a master at exchanging information with buyers from every walk of life, and earned an arguably legendary reputation for doing so, extending his riches far beyond his work in the brothels. Nearing the end of his 11th year, just passing the age of 20, Apollo met a mysterious patron on a brisk night working late at the brothel. In fact, the man was not a patron at all, but rather someone looking to recruit talent from beyond the common rings of Amaterasu. Recognizing Apollo’s talent and potential, he offered the young 20 year old a chance to make a new life for himself. Both left the brothel just minutes later and never returned. For the following years, the man became something of a master to Apollo, instructing him on many of the common practices and behaviors of a “civilized” lifestyle. Beyond that, he was taught basic magic and combat, as well as the more technical aspects of scholarhood. However, Apollo’s largely obsequious position evaporated instantaneously, as during a foraging trip to a nearby forest, his master was slain by an unnaturally large goblin right before his eyes. Today, Sir Apollo Leonidis, through dedication to his success, began and expanded a series of brothels throughout the first, second, and third rings of Ameratsu. Although raised in one himself, he considers them a great opportunity for the underprivileged and treats his workers with the kindness and respect he would expect for himself. He has no tolerance for abuse of his workers and, most of all, employment of children. Nonetheless, raised in a brothel, Apollo is a near-hopeless sex addict. The world is his brothel. Every woman is his to choose from and even the continent’s endless variety of mates is incapable of fully satiating his lust. While it rarely bleeds into his professional life, his salacious charm may be the only thing leading into question his noble status, even more so than his race. However, outside of his typical life operating a large string of brothels, he has spent the last decade going cave to cave, forest to forest looking for the goblin who murdered his master and savior many years ago. Although good at heart, he harbors a desire for vengeance against that one creature which roams free to this day.
