War of the Ancient

The Ancient fought a bitter war that spanned eons and left a path of destruction in the multiverse. When it became clear to them that neither side was going to win the war, they lost interest. The conflict no longer gave them satisfaction. Aloof and entranced as they have become, turned to other things.
