Heimstadt

Heimstadt is western continent of Atlas who's landscape is split into 3 regions by both geography and political power. At the most northern section of Heimstadt is the arctic northern region of Azniel. This frozen and hellish landscape is a feared and steered clear by traveller and adventurers. The frozen landscape is home to monsters, beasts, and the just as fearful people that live there. Heading south we find ourselves with in the Helmont region. Having two mountain ranges that flank the area, the Helmont region is isolated from the rest of Heimstadt. The territory is split two ways the majority of which is held by the Scherazade Dominion after absorbing past kingdoms. Living within the dominion is simple and rewarding, you pay a reasonable portion of your makings to the royal authority, and follow its laws and in return, you can own property, start businesses, and worship whatever gods you please, however to some that luxury is met with systematic obstruction from the Steel Rite, the official military of the dominion. East of the Scherazade Dominion in the other half of Helmont is the Meridian Concord, a federation consisting of many towns and cities within the area with the highest position of leadership being held by the major trade hub known as Portgasl. People who live in the boundaries of the concord live a decent life with freedom to do as they wish, however living in the concord is also met with high taxes and corrupt leadership. Heading even further south past the Fairland Peaks lies the massive region known as the Fair Lands. In this territory one is truly free to do as they wish, build a home, start a family, travel, even establish a band of thieves if one so chooses. The Fair Lands is home to fewer established cities and more to villages. Travelling here can be dangerous due to the wilds being full of beasts, monsters, and bandits.
