The Yggdrasil Legion
The Yggdrasil Legion acts as a world wide and multiplanar police force for Atlus and the planes of exsistence. After a great calamity decades ago that caused many deaths in Trejo Bathos, a smaller dual island country to the east the legion was formed by the heroes who survived the ordeal. For the past 88 years, they have protected, and prevented wars, pandemics, and other disasters. However the Yggdrasil Legion is not seen favorably by every nation of Atlus and are barred from entering their territories, and due to their neutral status and law abiding nature, they only enter nations that they have permission for. Outside of the the material plane they have ties with all 4 of the elemental planes, Mount Celestia, and the Feywild, and as time goes on they hope to expand even more across the planes so that they may help whoever they can. Some cities who lack guards or police will contact the legion for aid and support.
Structure
The structure of the Yggdrasil Legion is composed of 7 council members, each one coming from a different plane of existence.
Culture
The Legions beliefs are those of order and justice, they believe in protecting the innocent and preventing what can be stopped.
Public Agenda
The legions goal is to prevent and stop catastrophies, apocalypses, large scale wars, and things that they feel may be a danger to the people of Atlus.
Assets
The Yggdrasil Legion has subdivisions that they send out across Atlus ranging from powerful healers, to researchers, to secret police that operate in disguise. They also control the distribution of dangerous materials and technologies.
Demography and Population
In the free city that the Yggdrasil Legion owns, the people and citizens are free to live as they wish, and anyone can do anything they please, however there is an application process involved in relocating to the city.
Territories
The free city is located in the northwest region of Enkhord within the Embrace, a large region of the continent that is enclosed by a long mountain range that segregates the population with in the area from the rest of the continent.
Foreign Relations
Due to the independent nature of the legion, they have a relation with all foreign powers and can operate where ever they please.
